Sl = Rl Feelings
I’ve just read a profile of another sl user who reminds the reader there are rl feelings behind the avatar – i sometimes get the impression that this is forgotten, but i could be wrong; rl feelings certainly played a part for me a few days ago when i visited a sim i hadn’t been to in over a year.
I went back to grab an LM so i could show my partner a particular place and the rest of the sim; as soon as i landed i remembered why i fell in love with the island – who would have thought that pixels could evoke such emotions? i felt calm, in love with the atmosphere and i wanted to share it with my girl.
The entire sim gives off an essence of peace (Sounds like a perfume!) - the bird song, the music, and the buildings made of stone.
‘Where is this place?’ i hear you ask, this place is in my heart and because it’s so special i’m going to leave it a mystery.
Maybe you have a place like that too – a place in a virtual world that brings forth real physical emotions.
